Ryan is a singer/songwriter living in Kentucky.  Ryan is a worship leader at Manchester Baptist Church, where he also serves as children’s minister along with his wife, BreAnne.

As a youngster, Ryan was inspired to play music by his older brother, Beau.  Beau restored their mother’s acoustic guitar, the same guitar she played while performing in beauty pageants in the ’70s.  Inspired by the likes of Keith Green and Larry Norman, Beau performed and wrote songs with Ryan tagging along.  Soon, Ryan started writing songs and learned to play the piano and drums, and after high school, Ryan picked up an acoustic guitar and started learning that instrument as well.  Over the next several years, God dealt with Ryan, who was saved at a young age, to serve Him wholeheartedly.  Playing in several secular bands, Ryan felt the Lord drawing him to a closer relationship and to ministry.  Finally, at the age of 21, Ryan heeded that call and began living for God.  Years later, Ryan played drums in Christian rock and church worship bands.  These projects inspired Ryan to begin writing praise songs to the God who had pursued and redeemed him.

In late 2007, Ryan married the love of is life, BreAnne.  At this time, Ryan was working long hours and did not devote any time to the pursuit of music he so craved.  Later on, the opportunity arose for Ryan to return to school to finish is college education.  This change afforded Ryan with a bit more time, so he began writing songs once again.

The forthcoming album, LOVE SO AMAZING, is a collection of songs written from 2004 to 2010, with the majority being penned since Ryan’s return to college.  It is Ryan’s hope that these songs lead listeners to consider the majesty, glory, power, and unceasing love of God as they walk daily with Him.

I believe that if we would consider, to the degree our intellect will allow, just how big and merciful God is, we will have to step back, speechless, before the Creator who is truly and singularly worthy of our worship and devotion.  All created things will pale in comparison.  God will be, and rightly so, our priority.  Only then will we serve God the way He commands and deserves.  -  Ryan
