I wrote this a few days ago when preparing to sing this song during the service on December 22.

O, Beautiful Star, what truth we’ve heard!

Christ is the Light, the Life, the Word

Savior of all the Father’s grace has drawn

Raised by the Spirit, born again

Soon to be free from death and sin

O, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, shine on
